新華社北京12月31日電新年前夕，國家主席習(xí)近平通過中國國際廣播電臺、中央人民廣播電臺、中央電視臺，發(fā)表了二〇一六年新年賀詞。

同志們，朋友們，女士們，先生們，
Comrades, friends, ladies and gentlemen,
再過幾個小時，新年的鐘聲就要敲響了。我們即將告別2015年，迎來2016年的第一縷陽光。在這辭舊迎新的時刻，我向全國各族人民，向香港特別行政區(qū)同胞和澳門特別行政區(qū)同胞，向臺灣同胞和海外僑胞，向世界各國和各地區(qū)的朋友們，致以新年的祝福！
In a few hours, the New Year Bell will be
ringing. We will say goodbye to the year 2015 and welcome the first ray of
sunshine of the year 2016. At this turn of the year, I wish to extend
my New Year greetings to the people of all ethnic groups of
China, to our compatriots in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and
the Macao Special Administrative Region, to our compatriots in Taiwan and
overseas Chinese, as well as to friends in other countries and regions of the
world.
In a few hours’ time, the bell of the
New Year will be ringing. We’ll say goodbye to the year of 2015 and greet the
first ray of sun light from 2016. At this occasion of bidding farewell to the
old year and welcoming the new, I would like to express my best
New Year wishes to Chinese people from all ethnic groups, to our
compatriots from Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions, to our
compatriots from Taiwan region and overseas, as well as to friends from all
countries and regions around the world!
有付出，就會有收獲。2015年，中國人民付出了很多，也收獲了很多。我國經(jīng)濟(jì)增長繼續(xù)居于世界前列，改革全面發(fā)力，司法體制改革繼續(xù)深化， “三嚴(yán)三實(shí)”專題教育推動了政治生態(tài)改善，反腐敗斗爭深入進(jìn)行。經(jīng)過全國各族人民共同努力，“十二五”規(guī)劃圓滿收官，廣大人民群眾有了更多獲得感。
As long as we pay, there will be gains. In
2015, the great efforts of the Chinese people have paid off. China’s economic
growth continues to lead in the world. Reform has been pushed forward comprehensively.
Reform in the judicial system has been further deepened. The special
educational campaign of “Three Stricts and Three Earnests” has promoted the
improvement of the political eco-system. The fight against corruption has been
carried out deeply. Through the joint efforts of the people of all ethnic
groups across the country, we see a successful conclusion of the
“12th-Five-Year Plan”. The general public has enjoyed the increasing “sense of
gain”.
Fruitful gains come with persistent efforts. In the year of 2015, Chinese people have made great
efforts in building their nation and have achieved enormously. Our economic
growth remained at the forefront of the world, our reforms intensified
comprehensively, the reforms on judicial system deepened, the “Three Stricts”
and “Three Steadies” carried out in earnest, and the fight against corruption
advanced solidly. Thanks to the great efforts of all Chinese people, the 12th
Five-Year Plan from 2010 to 2015 successfully came to an end,
which made the people in this country feel a heightened sense of gains.
這一年，我們隆重紀(jì)念了中國人民抗日戰(zhàn)爭暨世界反法西斯戰(zhàn)爭勝利70周年，舉行了盛大閱兵，昭示了正義必勝、和平必勝、人民必勝的真理。我們?nèi)鎸?shí)施改革強(qiáng)軍戰(zhàn)略，宣布裁軍30萬。我和馬英九先生在新加坡會面，實(shí)現(xiàn)了跨越66年時空的握手，表明兩岸關(guān)系和平發(fā)展是兩岸同胞的共同心愿。
During this past year, we solemnly commemorated
the 70th anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance
Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. We held a grand
military parade, making the true clear to all that justice will prevail, peace
will prevail, and people will prevail. We will comprehensively implement the
reform strategy to strengthen China’s military, and we announced China
will cut the number of its troops by 300,000. Mr. Ma
Ying-Jeou and I met in Singapore, with a handshake that transcended 66 years of
time and space. This shows the peaceful development of cross-Straits relations
is the common wish of the people of the both sides of the Taiwan Strait.
In the year of 2015, we solemnly
commemorated the 70th anniversary of the victory of Chinese people’s War of
Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, with a
grand military-parade, showing the truth that justice will prevail, peace will
prevail, and people will prevail. We comprehensively implemented the strategy
of reforming and strengthening the army, and decided to cut
military personnel by 300-thousand. The meeting between myself and Mr.
Ma Ying-jeou in Singapore made the handshake between the top leaders of the
mainland and Taiwan a reality after a lapse of 66 years. The handshake
demonstrated that the peaceful development of cross-straits relationship is the
common aspiration of the people on both sides of the Taiwan Straits.
這一年，北京獲得第24屆冬奧會舉辦權(quán)，人民幣納入國際貨幣基金組織特別提款權(quán)貨幣籃子，我國自主研制的C919大型客機(jī)總裝下線，中國超級計(jì)算機(jī)破世界紀(jì)錄蟬聯(lián)“六連冠”，我國科學(xué)家研制的暗物質(zhì)探測衛(wèi)星發(fā)射升空，屠呦呦成為我國首位獲得諾貝爾獎的科學(xué)家……這說明，只要堅(jiān)持，夢想總是可以實(shí)現(xiàn)的。
During this past year, Beijing won the bid to
host the 24th Winter Olympic Games. The renminbi has been included
into the Special Drawing Rights basket of the International
Monetary Fund. China’s domestically-produced C919 large passenger aircraft
rolled off the production line. China’s super computer broke the world record
for a sixth consecutive year. A satellite developed by Chinese scientists to
detect “dark matter” was launched. Tu Youyou became China’s first scientist to win
a Nobel Price. These show that as long as we persevere, dreams can
always be realized.
In the year of 2015, Beijing won the
bid for hosting the 24th Winter Olympic Games, Chinese currency Renminbi was
approved by the IMF to be a global reserve currency in the
Special Drawing Right basket, our self-developed C919 jetliner was put on
production line, China’s super computer claimed top position for the 6th
consecutive year, which is a world record, the satellite exploring dark matter,
developed by our scientists, was launched into space successfully, Tu Youyou
became our first Chinese scientist winning a Nobel Prize…All those facts have
illustrated that dreams will eventually come true with determined
perseverance.
這一年，我們有欣喜，也有悲傷。“東方之星”號客輪翻沉、天津港特別重大火災(zāi)爆炸、深圳滑坡等事故造成不少同胞失去了生命，還有我們的同胞被恐怖分子殘忍殺害，令人深感痛心。我們懷念他們，愿逝者安息、生者安康！群眾的生活中還有一些困難和煩惱。黨和政府一定會繼續(xù)努力，切實(shí)保障人民生命財(cái)產(chǎn)安全、保障人民生活改善、保障人民身體健康。
During the past year, we had
happiness, as well as sadness. The capsizing of the “Eastern
Star” ferry, the major fire and explosions at Tianjin Port, the Shenzhen
landslide and other accidents have take the lives of many of our countrymen.
And some countrymen were brutally killed by terrorists. All these are deeply
heartbreaking. We will remember them. We wish all the deceased to
rest in peace and the living safe and healthy. Some difficulties and
troubles still remain in people’s daily life. The Communist Party of China and
the government will surely continue to effectively guarantee the safety of
people’s lives and property, guarantee the improvement of people’s livelihood,
guarantee people’s health.
In the year of 2015, we’ve
not only experienced cheerful occasions but have also gone through sorrows.
Many of our compatriots lost their lives in tragic incidents like the “Eastern
Star” cruise ship wreck, the serious fire and blast in the port of Tianjin, and
in the landslide in Shenzhen. Some of our compatriots were also brutally
murdered by terrorists. Our hearts were broken by those tragedies. May
the deceased rest in peace and the living remain safe and sound! There
are still many difficulties and hardships in people’s daily lives. The
Communist Party of China and the Chinese government will continue the efforts
to ensure that the safety of people’s lives and properties are protected, and
people’s rights to improved livelihood and physical health are guaranteed.
2016年是我國進(jìn)入全面建成小康社會決勝階段的開局之年。中共十八屆五中全會明確了未來5年我國發(fā)展的方向。前景令人鼓舞、催人奮進(jìn)，但幸福不會從天降。我們要樹立必勝信念、繼續(xù)埋頭苦干，貫徹創(chuàng)新、協(xié)調(diào)、綠色、開放、共享的發(fā)展理念，著力推進(jìn)結(jié)構(gòu)性改革，著力推進(jìn)改革開放，著力促進(jìn)社會公平正義，著力營造政治上的綠水青山，為全面建成小康社會決勝階段開好局、起好步。
The year 2016 is the first year when China enters
the crucial period to build a moderately well-off society in an all-round way.
The 5th Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee has made clear
China’s development direction for the next five years. The future is
encouraging and inspiring. But happiness does not fall from the sky. We shall
establish a spirit to prevail, continue to immerse ourselves in hard work,
implement the development of innovation, coordination, green, openness and
sharing. We shall put forth efforts in promoting structural reform, and reform
and opening-up, promoting social fairness and justice, as well as creating
a green political eco-system. We shall get off to a good start as we
advance in the crucial period for China to build a moderately well-off society
in an all-round way.
2016 marks the beginning of the
decisive phase in the national effort to build China into a comprehensive
moderately prosperous society. The fifth plenum of the 18th Congress of the Communist
Party of China has identified clearly the direction of development over the
next five years. The prospects are encouraging. However, happiness will not
just fall from heaven, we must empower ourselves with strong faith and
confidence, continue to work hard, to seek innovative, coordinated and green
development that is also open and shared by all. We will further advance
structural reforms, continue the reform and opening up process, promote social
fairness and justice, build a clean and healthy political
environment, and lay a solid foundation for the decisive stage in
building China into a moderately prosperous society.
全面建成小康社會，13億人要攜手前進(jìn)。讓幾千萬農(nóng)村貧困人口生活好起來，是我心中的牽掛。我們吹響了打贏扶貧攻堅(jiān)戰(zhàn)的號角，全黨全國要勠力同心，著力補(bǔ)齊這塊短板，確保農(nóng)村所有貧困人口如期擺脫貧困。對所有困難群眾，我們都要關(guān)愛，讓他們從內(nèi)心感受到溫暖。
To build a moderately well-off society in an
all-round way, the 1.3billion people should join hands and move forward
together. A better for tens of millions of poor people in rural regions is dear
to my heart. We have sounded the trumpet to win the battle of poverty
alleviation. All Party members and fellow countrymen should pull
together and work hard as a team, put forth efforts to lengthen this short
stave. We should make sure that the entire poor population in rural regions can
rise out of poverty on schedule. For all the people in difficulties, we should
care for them and let them feel the warmth from the deep of their hearts.
To build China into a comprehensive
moderately prosperous society, we need the effort of all the 1.3 billion people
in this country. It remains a moral and emotional obligation for me to get the
tens of millions of rural population out of poverty and to let them lead a
decent life. Now the party and the nation have been mobilized to
make concerted effort for the victory of the decisive battle over poverty.
To all those still live in difficulty, we will let them know that we do care,
and we will let them feel the warmth of heart, from ours to theirs.
我們只有一個地球，這是各國人民共同的家園。這一年，我國領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人參加了不少國際會議，開展了不少外交活動，推動“一帶一路”建設(shè)取得實(shí)質(zhì)性進(jìn)展，參與了聯(lián)合國2030年可持續(xù)發(fā)展議程、應(yīng)對全球氣候變化等國際事務(wù)。世界那么大，問題那么多，國際社會期待聽到中國聲音、看到中國方案，中國不能缺席。面對身陷苦難和戰(zhàn)火的人們，我們要有悲憫和同情，更要有責(zé)任和行動。中國將永遠(yuǎn)向世界敞開懷抱，也將盡己所能向面臨困境的人們伸出援手，讓我們的“朋友圈”越來越大。
We have only one earth, which is the common home
of people of all countries. During this past year, Chinese leaders have participated
in many international conferences and conducted many diplomatic activities. We
have achieved solid progress in promoting the development of the
“Belt and Road” initiative. We engaged in many international affairs
including the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and issues
on dealing with climate change. The world is so big, and the problems are so
many. The international community expects to hear China’s voice and see China’s
plans. China cannot be absent. Seeing the people trapped in the deep suffering
and war, we should have compassion and sympathy, but also take responsibilities
and action. China will always open its arms to the world and make all efforts
possible to extend our helping hand to the people facing difficulties. Let our
“circle of friends” grow bigger and bigger.
We have only one earth, this is the
homeland of all peoples in the world. In the past year, Chinese leaders have
participated in quite a few international conferences, and conducted numerous
diplomatic activities for the well being of our common home. Our
efforts to promote the “One Belt, One Road” initiative have achieved tangible
results. We have participated in the discussion of the UN 2030
Agenda on Sustainable Development, as well as a series of world affairs
concerning global climate change. The world is too big, and challenges are too
many, to go without the voice from China being heard, without solution ideas
from China being shared, without the involvement of China being needed. To
those suffering from hardships and wars, we not only express our sympathy and
solidarity, but will also take duty bound actions to provide help. China will,
as always, open its arms to embrace the world, and offer its helping hands to
those in need. Our circle of friends will grow bigger.
我衷心希望，國際社會共同努力，多一份平和，多一份合作，變對抗為合作，化干戈為玉帛，共同構(gòu)建各國人民共有共享的人類命運(yùn)共同體。
I sincerely hope that international community can
work together. With more peacefulness and cooperation, let’s turn confrontation
into cooperation, and turn swords into ploughshares.
Let’s work together to build a common community of common destiny of all kind,
which is shared by all people in every country.
I sincerely hope that the
international community will make concerted effort to make peace, relate to
each other in cooperation rather than confrontation; beat swords
into plowshares and to build a community of common destiny of all
mankind.
