Presidency Statement on Climate Change at the G20 Sherpa Meeting
二十國集團協(xié)調(diào)人會議關于氣候變化問題的主席聲明

The Second G20 Sherpa Meeting was convened in Guangzhou, China from 6 to 8 April, 2016, and in relation to climate change, agreed on the following broad common understanding:
二十國集團（G20）第二次協(xié)調(diào)人會議于2016年4月6日至8日在中國廣州舉行，并就氣候變化問題達成以下共識：
1. Climate change is one of the greatest challenges facing the world today. We welcomed the adoption of the Paris Agreement at the 21st Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), and were satisfied that G20 members had played a key role in facilitating this progress.
1、氣候變化是當前世界面臨的最嚴峻的挑戰(zhàn)之一。我們歡迎《聯(lián)合國氣候變化框架公約》第21次締約方大會通過的《巴黎協(xié)定》，并對G20為推動這一進展所發(fā)揮的關鍵作用感到滿意。
2. We recognized that the Paris Agreement is a comprehensive, balanced and ambitious document, which is guided by the principles of the Convention, including the principles of equity and of common but differentiated responsibilities and respective capabilities, in the light of different national circumstances. It marked a milestone in global climate cooperation.
2、我們認為《巴黎協(xié)定》是一份全面、均衡、富有雄心的文件，反映了《公約》包括公平、共同但有區(qū)別的責任和考慮不同國情、根據(jù)各自能力在內(nèi)的各項原則。《協(xié)定》是全球氣候合作的一個重要里程碑。
3. We shall work to promote the implementation of the Paris Agreement, including by signing the Agreement on 22 April, 2016 or thereafter, taking into account our respective domestic steps to join the Agreement with a view to bringing the Paris Agreement into force as soon as possible.
3、我們將推動落實《巴黎協(xié)定》，包括于4月22日或其后盡快簽署，并根據(jù)各自國內(nèi)程序加入《協(xié)定》，以推動《協(xié)定》盡快生效。
